We advise to organize the IBEX RELAY RUN as follows: Jogger#3 takes Jogger#1 by car up to the start line on the Gotthard Mountain (they should reach the start line at around 23:45 of day -1).
As soon as the race has started (00:00:00), Jogger#3 goes back home with his/her car and goes to sleep (he will be running in a few hours!).
At approximatively 03:45 (depending on the quality of the Joggers) Jogger#2 reaches Checkpoint#1 with his/her car, and, when Jogger#1 reaches Checkpoint#1 (somewhere around 04:00, depending on the ability of the previous Jogger) hand over to the latter the keys to his/her car. Jogger#1 goes home, using Jogger#2’s car.
At approximatively 09:00 (depending on the quality of the Joggers) Jogger#3 reaches Checkpoint#2 with his/her car, and, when Jogger#2 reaches Checkpoint#2 (somewhere around 09:30, depending on the abilities of the previous Joggers) hands over to the latter the keys to his/her car.
Jogger#2 goes home, using Jogger#3’s car. Jogger#2 goes home, using Jogger#3’s car.
At the arrival in Pedrinate, Jogger#1 and Jogger#2 wait for the arrival of Jogger#3 and everybody gets his/her car’s key back. Somebody takes Jogger#1 home. There are other solution to this quiz!!! 😊
